Inspiration comes from the urban landscape, especially old machines thrown out in heaps to rust. Some discarded pieces trigger associations with prehistoric beasts. Abandoned by the culture that created them, these extinct forms have taken on a life of their own. They emit a presence, suggesting a sort of mechanical animal; a dark, powerful form perched on the landscape.
